Generally when something dangerous is about to happen the flashlight flickers, generally flash's due to the freddys getting on the bed, however it'll flash when an animatronic such as foxy is advancing. How are you notified if Chica is going to bring the cupcake? is it by her apperance? or is it something else? You got to keep Chica away if you don't want the Cupcake to jumpscare you.
